We serve our community by bringing award-winning water to their homes, businesses, and public places.   We have multiple exciting opportunities for Operations Technicians of all levels to join our organization.    Our Operations Technicians monitor and maintain our highly technical water treatment and distribution process.  They make routine decisions concerning process chemistry, chemical dosage, mechanical equipment operations and distribution system operation; balance flows to basins and reservoirs and maintain system water storage requirements. Our Operations Technicians endeavor to meet or exceed all state and federal water quality standards and regulations; meet or exceed Board policies, goals and expectations; and promote security of WaterOne’s water system.  They are also responsible for promoting safety, environmental stewardship and cost efficiency.   **Please note: We are looking for candidates with various levels of experience and expertise.  The schedules for positions will likely be weekend and/or overnight shifts.

We serve our community by bringing award-winning water to their homes, businesses, and public places.   Summary/Objective   The purpose of this position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of highly technical and complex on-line water quality analyzers and sampling systems installed throughout the treatment facilities and distribution systems and the validity of the data they produce.  The Analyzer Technician is directly responsible for the accuracy, and reliability of data used to prepare reports to state agencies as it pertains to water quality.  The Technician shall endeavor to meet or exceed all state and federal water quality standards and regulations; meet or exceed Board policies, goals and expectations; promote security of WaterOne’s water system.  The Technician shall endeavor to promote safety, environmental stewardship and cost efficiency.  As a support function the Technician may be called upon to complement the operations staff by making routine decisions concerning process chemistry, chemical dosage, mechanical equipment operations and distribution system operation; balance flows to basins and reservoirs and maintain system water storage requirements as directed.   Customer Service Commitment   WaterOne employees shall continuously strive to meet or exceed the expectations of both their internal and external customers.  Questions and concerns shall be acknowledged on the same day whenever possible, but no later than the next business day.  Issues shall be resolved as promptly as possible, with the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction.

The Distribution Technician will assist in the installation and maintenance of all water mains, valves, fire hydrants, service connections and concrete work.  Additionally, the Distribution Technician is responsible for the clean up and restoration of job sites after installation or maintenance is complete.  There are 11 different levels of competency for the Distribution Technician position.  The successful candidate will be offered a position at the level commensurate with their experience and qualifications as outlined in the job description below.

We serve our community by bringing award-winning water to their homes, businesses, and public places.   Summary/Objective The purpose of this full-time position is to take primary responsibility for Emergency Management Program and environmental compliance activities for the WaterOne organization and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Production Division. This position also provides quality control and oversight of programs related to hazardous and universal waste removal, oil and chemical bulk storage, and other environmental compliance programs applicable to WaterOne. This position supports the development and upkeep of the Production Division’s SOPs and coordinates WaterOne’s participation in the AWWA Partnership for Safe Water Program. Responsibilities include providing vision and leadership in planning, coordinating, implementing, and improving these programs and documents in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and best management practices.
