What you’ll be doing…
The purpose of this position is to repair, replace and maintain meters, meter installations and related plumbing accessories of all service connections serving WaterOne domestic accounts.
The purpose of this position is to maintain and calibrate all instruments and related equipment pertaining to flows, levels, pressures, process control, PLC and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

This excellent seasonal opportunity will provide you the opportunity to work with our experienced Construction and Maintenance staff and gain valuable, hands-on experience in maintenance and operation of fire hydrants. At WaterOne, we are passionate about what we do and we take pride in being an industry leader. Properly working fire hydrants are crucial to maintaining the safety of our customers. We have over 19,000 fire hydrants in our service area and we are looking for seasonal summer help who are eager to step up to the challenge of auditing them to ensure they work safely and properly.
Pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
What you’ll be doing…
You will play an important role in maintaining and operating fire hydrants throughout the WaterOne service area. The Fire Hydrant Auditors will inspect and test the hydrants to ensure they are working correctly and have the proper water pressure. Some of WaterOne's exciting upcoming projects include the Kansas Hydropower Facility, Wolcott Horizontal Collector Well, Wyss Pump Station Expansion, and Wolcott Membrane Replacement.
