The Custodian, with supervision, helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of WaterOne buildings and furnishings.

Overview
WaterOne has an excellent opportunity for a Distribution Technician to join our organization. The Distribution Technician will assist in the installation and maintenance of all water mains, valves, fire hydrants, service connections and concrete work. Additionally, the Distribution Technician is responsible for the clean up and restoration of job sites after installation or maintenance is complete. There are 11 different levels of competency for the Distribution Technician position. The successful candidate will be offered a position at the level commensurate with their experience and qualifications as outlined in the job description below.
The purpose of this position is to facilitate workflows for CMVS Department. Schedule/dispatch leak crews, tappers, new service inspectors, valve crews, line locators and hydrant crews. Serve as contact for city personnel, contractors, and general public requiring service from CMVS. Issue, track, update and process notifications and work orders and process right-of-way/excavating permits from government entities.

Summary/Objective
The purpose of this full-time position is to take primary responsibility for Emergency Management Program and environmental compliance activities for the WaterOne organization and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Production Division. This position also provides quality control and oversight of programs related to hazardous and universal waste removal, oil and chemical bulk storage, and other environmental compliance programs applicable to WaterOne. This position supports the development and upkeep of the Production Division’s SOPs and coordinates WaterOne’s participation in the AWWA Partnership for Safe Water Program. Responsibilities include providing vision and leadership in planning, coordinating, implementing, and improving these programs and documents in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and best management practices.

The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on WaterOne vehicles and construction equipment, primarily diesel engine equipment. Minimize down time and help ensure that vehicles and equipment are safe to operate.

The purpose of this position is to provide the facilities maintenance planning and scheduling services for WaterOne. This position will assist with improving maintenance workforce effectiveness by eliminating potential for delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, equipment, personnel, and contractors through the use of WaterOne’s ERP system and other planning and organization techniques.

Summary/Objective
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on detailed designs, calculations, cost estimates, plans, drawings and specifications for contract documents, and evaluations of various types of water works improvement projects. You will also coordinate engineering and administration of construction between WaterOne and other utilities, engineering firms, developers, and public works entities and you will operate in a consulting capacity to other departments on technical engineering issues when assigned.
