WaterOne is searching for hard-working, motivated, and passionate students for our Meter Services department as a Summer Meter Repair. This excellent opportunity will provide you the ability to work with our experienced Meter Services staff and gain valuable, hands-on, experience in maintenance and repair of water meters. We have over 400,000 customers in our service area and we are looking for students who are eager to step up to the challenge of maintaining and repairing our water meters to ensure an excellent customer experience.
What you’ll be doing…
The purpose of this position is to repair, replace and maintain meters, meter installations and related plumbing accessories of all service connections serving WaterOne domestic accounts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally lift/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 10 pounds constantly. The employee must be able to use a computer for five hours a day. The employee must be able to move occasionally from one location to another or be able to remain in a stationary position for up to several hours a day. The employee must be in possession of a licenses and be able to operate a vehicle at any given time. The employee must be able to occasionally position self to inspect, repair, install and remove meters and be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
