WaterOne's Facilities Project Engineer is responsible for providing detailed designs, calculations, cost estimates, plans and specifications for contract documents and evaluations of various types of water works improvements projects. The Project Engineer also performs or assists with construction management duties, inspection of work, various levels of field investigations, and review of consulting engineers’ designs. The Project Engineer plays a critical role in our multi-million dollar projects by operating in a consulting capacity to other departments in technical engineering matters and coordinate and liaise with our construction teams, engineering firms, developers, and public works entities. Some of WaterOne's exciting upcoming projects include the Kansas Hydropower Facility, Wolcott Horizontal Collector Well, Wyss Pump Station Expansion, and Wolcott Membrane Replacement.

The employee must be in possession of a licenses and be able to operate a vehicle at any given time. The employee must occasionally position self to inspect or view field activities.
